Accessibility
Oshawa Centre is an inclusive environment and we welcome EVERYONE! Come on over and enjoy your visit!
Disabled Person Accessibility
We make sure that it is easy for all people to come and enjoy the centre. To ensure this we have equipped every entrance with automatic doors, designed our Food Court washrooms making them easy to enter, installed an elevator to provide access to the Office Galleria or Oshawa Executive Centre or to the retailers on the lower level and our Customer Service kiosk includes lower counter heights to serve guests in wheelchairs.
Disabled Person Parking
For your convenience, we have reserved and clearly marked 54 disabled person parking stalls near every entrance. Vehicles parked in these spots must have a valid disabled parking permit clearly displayed. These parking spots are protected and managed for your benefit through the City of Oshawa By-Law number 79-99. This by-law protects against unauthorized parking on private property and permits us to ticket and/or tow unauthorized vehicles to ensure that those parking spots are available for disabled persons.
Wheelchair & Walker Loans
Take advantage of our complimentary wheelchairs and walkers. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis from the Customer Service kiosk. You need a government issued piece of ID and must deposit either one (1) piece of photo identification (Driver's License, Passport...) or one (1) piece of non-photo identification (Birth Certificate, S.I.N Card). Please note Health Cards are not accepted for this service.
Central Lockers
Too many bags and not enough hands? Lockers are available at the rear of the Food Court for day use at only 50¢ per use. If the locker key is lost, access to goods can be obtained by contacting Security at the Customer Service kiosk. Please note that lockers are cleared out each evening as they are not available for overnight use.
