As the largest mall east of Toronto, Oshawa’s premier shopping centre is dedicated to environmental sustainability. Currently undergoing an exciting $230 million expansion and renovation project, Oshawa Centre will offer an impressive retail mix, as well as, a suite of environmental and sustainability programming.

Through their partnership with Habitat for Humanity Canada, Hoarding for Humanity offers clients a whole-hearted and well-rounded recycling program with guaranteed, sustainable accountability. Since 2011, Oshawa Centre has diverted 12,600 sq.ft. of drywall, 7,892’ linear of track, and 907’ linear of baseboard from landfill and donated it to the Habitat for Humanity Canada Durham  ReStores. This large amount of hoarding material has been diverted from landfills thereby helping the environment and supporting a wonderful cause.

At Oshawa Centre, biking is encouraged by providing bike racks on the east and west side of the shopping centre. We currently have 7 bike racks in total.

Oshawa Centre is also a stop on many public transit routes, encouraging our customers to use public transportation rather than their own vehicles. Please see our direction and location pages for more information on public transit schedules.
